Penza teenager fined 7,000 rubles for punching police officer

Penza, 25 December 2014. PenzaNews. A 17-year-old Penza citizen was found guilty of using violence against a state servant.
“The investigation and the court learned of the following. On September 21 2014 at 21.00, a police dispatch moved out to a trade center on Ternovskovo street after receiving a report of a group of unidentified persons harassing a young lady. The man in question and his friend were on the scene under the influence,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, commented on the situation for PenzaNews agency.
She added that young people were brought to the police department.
“By the police department the teenager refused to leave the car and tried to resist by punching the police officer in the face,” she explained.
According to the press representative, the court fined the teenager 7 thousand rubles.
