Penza, 9 January 2015. PenzaNews. A 26-year old Penza citizen was arrested by the police and confessed to trying to hijack four cars parked on Kalinina street.

“The young man explained he was drunk and decided to visit somebody late at night. To do that, he attempted to hijack four cars one after another, failing each time,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs told PenzaNews agency.

According to officials, all cars were broken into using the same technique.

“The offender opened the door, picked the car locks and tried to start the engine,” explained the police.

According to the officials, the law authorities are investigating the incidents and deciding on opening a criminal case.
