Penza, 2 March 2015. PenzaNews. The officials are investigating the death of Evgeniya Alekseeva, 20, student of the Penza State University. Her body without any apparent signs of violence was found in the dormitory room on Chkalova street late on Sunday, March 1.

“During the investigation, the police have found a plastic bag with a white substance close to her body, and several flasks of correction fluid in the room,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, informed PenzaNews agency.

The police are currently conducting all the necessary measures in order to establish the events of the student team leader’s death, she explained.

“A court medical analysis was requested to establish the reasons behind her death,” said the speaker.

Evgeniya Alekseeva was very socially active and led the student pedagogical team “Record.”

In autumn of 2014, she was named the best among leaders and commissars of student teams of the Penza region, and awarded an invitation to the 3rd All-Russian Student Pedagogical Team Forum.

Her funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3.
