Penza, 1 April 2015. PenzaNews. A resident of the Serdobsky area in the Penza region, 26, has become a victim of fraud when trying to buy a car online.

As the press service of the Internal Affairs regional department informed PenzaNews agency, the young man found a Lada Priora being sold on Avito.ru for 230,000 rubles.

“The contact person suggested the victim transferring the prepayment. Following the instructions of the stranger, the man sent 23,000 rubles, and then came to meet him in Kuznetsk, but the person’s contact number was unavailable,” the department explained.

The press service explained that currently the police are taking steps to identify the culprits.

“We know that the phone number of the contact person was registered in a different region,” the department noted.
