Penza, 18 May 2015. PenzaNews. A traffic police inspector in the Penza region is suspected of taking a bribe of 1,000 rubles from a truck driver.

“It was established that he received the money for not filing a report on administrative offense for haulage rules violation,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs department informed PenzaNews agency.

The ministry added that the incident is checked by the internal investigations department.

“Based on the results, they will decide on the officer's dismissal from the law-enforcement bodies, as well as bringing his superiors to disciplinary responsibility. The officer will also be brought to justice in accordance with the current legislation,” the police department clarified.
