The 34-year-old woman who was found dead by a Borodina street apartment building in Penza with falling injuries had been suffering from a mental illness, Lyudmila Fomina, senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations, told PenzaNews.

“Reportedly, the woman jumped from the 8th floor landing platform of the apartment building,” she clarified.

According to her, the incident is currently under investigation before any court cases.

“We are conducting a forensic investigation and a number of other measures to establish the full picture of the incident.”

As PenzaNews reported earlier, the tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, May 24.

According to the police, the young woman had expressed suicidal intentions several times before her death.
