Penza, 25 July 2016. PenzaNews. The firemen fully extinguished the fire in a private house on Grazhdanskaya street of Penza which sparked up on Monday, July 25, Anna Shupilova, head of information and public relations division of the main EMERCOM department in the Penza region, informed PenzaNews.

The fire was reported to the dispatch at around 9.00, she added.

“The fire, which sparked up in a brickwork standalone house with a half-storey, destroyed 50 sq. meters of roofing and 20 sq. meters of living space,” she said.

Nobody was injured as a result, she clarified.

“The firemen have finished watering the premises,” Anna Shupilova explained.

The circumstances leading to the fire are yet to be discovered, she noted.

“It took 14 firemen and five vehicles to extinguish the fire,” she added.
