Penza, 3 August 2017. PenzaNews. 59 people including four children died in fire in the Penza region since the beginning of 2017. This was reported by the press service of the main regional EMERCOM department.

"Eight fire cases resulted in group deaths [when two or more people die] – the total number of dead people is 19," the department explained.

The press service also specified that over 560 cases of fire were registered in the region since the beginning of the year.
