Eyewitness: In Leonidovka a man tried to commit suicide after a traffic accident

Penza, 3 August 2017. PenzaNews. On Thursday afternoon, August 2, two VAZ cars received serious mechanical damage in a traffic accident that happened near a chemical weapons destruction plant in the village Leonidovka of the Penza region.

"The VAZ-2107 car veered across the road. Its front part is strongly deformed, a wing and a door on the passenger side were damaged. The windshield after the accident was on the asphalt.

The second car skidded into a ditch. The vehicle fell on its left side.

As an eyewitness told PenzaNews, after the accident the elderly driver of the VAZ-2107 car tried to cut his veins.

Presumably, he was intoxicated.

PenzaNews does not have an official comment on the accident from the traffic police yet.
