A young woman who was driving a car VAZ-210 died in a car accident involving cars Toyota Land Cruiser and GAZel, which occurred on the highway Saratov-Nizhny Novgorod in the Penza region on Thursday, December 21. This was reported by the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

 "A passenger – a boy born 2012, who was injured in the accident, was hospitalized," the department explained.

As reported on the website of the Department of Civil Defence and Communal Services, the driver of the Toyota Land Cruiser car and the child who was in the cabin of the off-road vehicle were not injured.

"With the help of a hydraulic rescue tool rescuers unblocked the body of the dead driver of VAZ-2110, stopped the batteries of the vehicles that had got into the accident in order to prevent possible ignition, and inspected the scene of the accident for the purpose of revealing secondary damaging factors," the statement reads.

Investigation on the fact of the traffic accident was organized. All circumstances are being investigated.
