According to him, neither he nor any other head of a region will allow this.
Ivan Belozertsev said that according to information available to him, the bribe was given to the head doctor by a representative of one or two Saratov companies.
"As far as I know, a criminal case will be instituted against the Saratov company for giving a bribe," he said at the meeting with head doctors that was held in polyclinic No. 7 on Thursday morning, April 19.

According to Ivan Belozertsev, he repeatedly inquired about the purity of medicine procurement deals, but he was assured that Vitaly Serebryakov was an honest and decent man never seen involved in anything illegal.
“The minister [Vladimir Stryuchkov] reports to me and I trust him,” the governor noted.
He also warned heads of health care facilities from reckless behaviour.
"If you don't understand it and continue acting the way you did before, Serebryakov's fate is in store for you," he said.
