Penza, 17 January 2012. PenzaNews. Governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev does not plan to create profiles on the popular social networks Vkontakte and Facebook as he stated during his meeting with the most active Internet users of the region on Monday, January 16.

According to Vasily Bochkarev, such online activities take a lot of time which can be used for making decisions or solving problems.

“I have a blog and answer all questions. If I have profiles on all social networks, I will have no time left to carry out my main duties,” the press service quotes Vasily Bochkarev as saying.

At the same time, the governor of the Penza region stressed that dialogue on the Internet helps to bridge the gap between the representatives of regional authorities and civil society.

In his words, blogs of government officials of the Penza region give any resident of the region an opportunity to address them directly.
