Penza, 19 April 2012. PenzaNews. Picket "For direct elections of the head of the Penza region" initiated by the regional office of political party "Pravoye Delo" within the All-Russia action which will be held in more than twenty cities of the country, will take place in Penza, at the square in Slava Street, on Tuesday, April 24, at 12.00.

"Participants of the picket intend to express the basic relation to the law about the order of election of heads of subjects of federation in present edition. The action's purpose is to draw attention of the authorities and society to the need for return to direct elections of governors without presidential and other "filters," reported in the press service of the regional office of the political party.

It is expected that the chairman of the Penza office of "Pravoye Delo" party Mikhail Lisin, members of the political council, representatives of the regional public organizations, and also the leaders and the members of youth movements of the region will take part in the action.
