Penza, 3 July 2012. PenzaNews. Activists of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party participated in the nationwide protest against Russia’s entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO). They held a protest near a regional board of honor and glory in Penza on Tuesday, July 3. During one hour, the Communists were taking turns holding a red flag with a poster, while the rest of protesters handed out leaflets. Those leaflets contained information about the negative consequences of Russia’s entry into the WTO, such as reduction of investment into agricultural sector, increase of unemployment, the rise of prices and loss of competitiveness.

The protest ended without incidents, none of the protesters was detained by the police on duty.
