Vladimir Zhirinovsky: Protect Anastasia Koptelova from political pressure

Penza, 25 August 2014. PenzaNews. LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky sent telegrams to several authorities at various levels with demands to protect Anastasia Koptelova, freelance assistant to the deputy of the State Duma of Russia Anton Ishchenko, from political pressure.

Among others, the message was sent to Yuri Chaika, Attorney General of Russia; Vladimir Churov, chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission; Vasily Bochkarev, governor of the Penza region; Alexander Elatontsev, chief of the internal policy of the regional government; Yuri Ruzlyaev chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Penza region; Igor Khvostikov, chief of FSB regional department; and Natalia Kantserova, prosecutor of the Penza region.
“I inform you about the pressure put on the assistant to the deputy of the State Duma A. Koptelova, who is engaged in the regional office of the election campaign of deputies and heads of local self-government of the Penza region and currently represents the interests of the Liberal Democratic Party in the election commissions of the Penza region. On the night of August 21, 2014, her car was damaged with acid, and she made a statement about it to the police and called to the experts for examination,” say the telegrams.
Vladimir Zhirinovsky also noted that he regards this act as a threat to her life and health, associated with participation in the election campaign which takes place in the harsh conditions of political struggle.
“In this regard, I request you to intervene in the situation and take necessary action within your powers,” the statement of LDPR leader read.
As news agency “PenzaNews” reported earlier, on Thursday, August 21, the unknown poured acid on the “Mazda 6” car owned by Anastasia Koptelova.
As a result, the paintwork and plastic parts of the vehicle were damaged in several spots.
According to a number of experienced car owners, who studied the photography of the car, the damage will amount to no less than 100 thousand rubles and loss of commercial value.
