The gradual city development program by Sergei Zlatogorsky described the main tasks the Kuznetsk executive authorities will have to deal with in the next few years.

As before, among the priority tasks marked by the mayor were drinking water supply support, rehousing campaign, streetlight installations, social and urban infrastructure renovation, and development of the delinquency prevention social program.

The strategy plans also involve transport and engineering pathways development in Airport, Otkormsovkhoz, Karpaty, Oil tank farm and Solnechny city areas, as well as multifunctional social center creation in Zapadny neighborhood.

According to Sergei Zlatogorsky, the administration will continue its work to resolve the queue problem in city kindergartens and create good atmosphere for all-round development of the new generation.

Among other plans, the official mentioned the intention to build a new kindergarten for 245 children in 2015, repurpose the former Veterenary Community College building into a childcare center, restore the facilities of “Luch” children camp, and organize capital repairs of the city schools.

Special attention will be paid to the economical development of Kuznetsk. The administration will focus on all-round investment initiative support for socially responsible businessmen, investor attraction with the high-technology production projects, import replacement, recycling, taxable base increase, and business and trade relationship legalization.

According to Sergei Zlatogorsky’s program, two conditions must be met to make the ideas for Kuznetsk’s revival and improvement came true: sound budget policy and united city community.

As the press service of Kuznetsk city administration reports, in the city mayor’s opinion, one of the main mechanisms for resolving the current problems lies in keeping the sensible balance between the development budget and municipal expenses whenever it is possible to attract external investment sources.

As PenzaNews agency reported before, Sergei Zlatogorsky was first elected as the Kuznetsk city administration head in July 2012.

Under him, the city administration achieved high economical development: during the next 36 months, self-produced export volume increased by 20% and a total of 4 bln rubles of investments were raised.

Moreover, the city is highly effective in solving its current social problems that attracted the attention of federal and regional authorities. For two years, Kuznetsk has been the most effective city in the Penza region according to the ratings of city areas and municipal departments.
