“I am definitely ready to take part in the gubernatorial election in the Penza region. We have developed a program that the election campaign will use as a basis. It was tempered with time, and we have implemented many of its points,” the news agency “Saratov24” quotes Anton Ischenko.

The State Duma deputy also said he is ready to fight for the office in the Saratov region if the gubernatorial election in Penza yield no success.

As PenzaNews agency informed earlier, the preliminary list of LDPR candidates for the upcoming election for the governor of the Penza region includes four people.

They are Anton Ischenko, deputy of the Russian Duma; Mikhail Usov, coordinator of the Penza regional LDPR department; Zhigansha Tuktarov, deputy of the Penza City Duma; and Igor Sarantsev, coordinator of the Kamenka area party branch.

According to expectations, the four potential gubernatorial candidates from the Liberal-Democratic Party will form a joint election program and present it to the public in a month.

The name of the LDPR candidate for the election as the Penza region governor will be announced in May.
