As Viktor Rubtsov, vice governor of the Penza region, informed, the corresponding draft document has already been directed to the regional parliament.
“Another bill is also underway: it suggests declaring Radonitsa (April 21 this year) a city holiday,” he wrote in his Twitter.
As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, Anton Ischenko, deputy of the State Duma from the LDPR faction, addressed the Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev and the speaker of the regional parliament Ivan Belozertsev on March 10 with recommendations to reduce wages of regional officials and deputies.
In his letter, the public official called for the regional authorities to follow the example of the Russian President Vladimir Putin: on March 6, the head of the state had signed orders to reduce wages of himself, the government chairman, vice-PMs, ministers, heads of military administration, high officials of the Central Election Commission, state servants of the Presidential administration, the government system and the Chamber of Accounting by 10%.
