Ivan Belozertsev wins United Russia primaries

Penza, 19 June 2015. PenzaNews. The acting governor of the Penza region, secretary of the regional United Russia party branch Ivan Belozertsev has won the United Russia primaries thanks to the support of 2,259 voters, or 97%, the regional calculation committee chairman Ivan Krasnov announced during the reading of the intraparty election results protocol on Friday, June 19.

The second place was taken by the chairman of the Penza Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Podobed with 715 votes, or 30%.
546 voters, or 23%, supported the chairman of the Penza region workers unions federation, co-chairman of the regional APF office, regional Legislative Assembly chairman Nikolai Kotov.
The head of Kolyshley area administration of the Penza region Alexander Spiryagin received 544 votes, or 23%.
Following the regulations on organization and conduct of intraparty primaries, the election results protocol will be reviewed at the nearest political council session, along with the final list of candidates to submit it to the general party conference in early July.
The final list of candidates for the gubernatorial election will include three party representatives that will be chosen through close vote.
