No violations registered during Penza region gubernatorial election so far

Penza, 13 September 2015. PenzaNews. The members of the supervision body “For Clean Election” have revealed no violations by 15.00 of Sunday, September 13, the day of the Penza region gubernatorial election, the regional coordinator of “For Clean Election” Darya Stepanova told PenzaNews agency.

“According to our supervisors, there were no violations whatsoever. We have registered nothing insofar – everything is very calm,” the speaker clarified.
The supervisors are present on 70% of polling stations in the Penza region, Darya Stepanova noted.
“Our people in the Penza region cover about 50 areas,” the coordinator added.
The organization have set up a situation headquarters at the Penza State Institute that receives all information on election, Darya Stepanova explained.
“It is currently staffed with 11 people. We monitor the situation through social networks and phonecalls,” the speaker said.
It also features two quick dispatch groups, ready to visit any location if any violation is reported, the coordinator of the body “For Clean Election” continued.
As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, September 13 is the day of the Penza region gubernatorial election, as well as special elections of deputies for local government bodies of several municipalities.
All 1,105 polling stations in the Penza region for the gubernatorial election opened at 8.00. They will remain operational until 20.00, at which point vote counting will begin.
All five officially registered candidates – Ivan Belozertsev (United Russia), Vladimir Simagin (CPRF), Zhigansha Tuktarov (LDPR), Vladimir Popkov (“Rodina”) and Gennady Yeroshin (“A Just Russia”) – have cast their votes in their voting areas before 12.00.
Among the people who did the same before noon are the chairman of the Penza region Legislative Assembly Valery Lidin, the Penza city head Victor Kuvaytsev, the State Duma deputy Igor Rudensky, the former governor Vasily Bochkarev, and the first chairman of the CPRF regional committee, regional Legislative Assembly deputy Georgy Kamnev.
