“People open the Penza region government website, navigate to ‘Education’ section, examine the official declamations page, and encounter an absurd situation. [The newest message is] dated August 21, 2015,” said the head of the region during the Penza region government meeting session on Monday, September 28.
He added that he scrutinized the presentation listed there, and concluded it was “standard and primitive.”
“No stance of the Ministry itself, only statistics,” Ivan Belozertsev pointed out.
He added that the regional ministry must follow both the federal standards and the direction of the Russian Ministry of Education, but without lacking its own vision of the education development strategy.
“Look at the presentation by [the former Penza region Education Minister] Kopeshkina, and look at this year’s presentation – it’s heaven and earth,” the governor noted.
