Sergei Kapralov replaces Rauf Chakaev as Penza region Economy Minister

Penza, 1 December 2015. PenzaNews. Sergei Kapralov, formerly Assistant Minister of Economy of the Penza region, head of the Investment Policy and Foreign Trade Coordination in the regional Economy Ministry, has been appointed the new Minister of Economy, announced the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

He will be replacing his predecessor Rauf Chakaev.

Sergei Victorovich Kapralov was born in Penza on 7 June 1981.

From August 2010 to September 2013, he headed the Business Development Department of the Penza region.

On 1 October 2013, Sergei Kapralov was appointed the Acting Minister of Investment Development and Foreign Trade of the Penza region, later on moving to his most recent position before the promotion.
