Victor Kuvaytsev outlines priorities for Penza city administration in 2016

Penza, 25 March 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza city mayor Victor Kuvaytsev has outlined the priorities for the city administration for 2016 during the 20th session of the City Duma on Friday, March 25.

According to him, this includes increasing non-tax income, budget optimization, concentration of currently available city resources under the set objectives, and execution of budget obligations.
“At present, we have 171 million rubles of non-tax income coming to the budget. This is a small sum, but there is a positive trend,” the mayor clarified.
The city administration will also work on attracting investments, developing SMEs, maintaining the road system, calibrating the public transportation system, resolving communal affairs issues, and following up on the new real estate production plan, Victor Kuvaytsev added.
Moreover, according to the Penza city administration head, the officials in 2016 will begin the construction of a school on Schevchenko street, a number of kindergartens in the Zarya and Soglasie residential areas, and also work on abolishing evening-shift lessons in schools and other institutions of general education.
“We will actively work on improving the Sura river embankment zone: the process is currently on the project cost estimate documentation development stage,” the mayor clarified.
At the end of his speech, Victor Kuvaytsev thanked the deputies for fruitful cooperation and said they and the city administration staff are a solid team.
“I would like to wish everyone to believe in themselves and their abilities, and achieve success,” he concluded.
