Penza, 18 April 2016. PenzaNews. The deputy mandate of Andrei Zuev, who had been removed from his duties in the Penza region Legislative Assembly, was transferred to Vladimir Marshev, first secretary of the CPRF Shemysheyka area committee by the decision of the Communist Party regional committee’s plenary meeting held on Monday, April 18.

All members of the plenary meeting unanimously supported the decision to transfer the mandate to Andrei Zuev’s successor in the regional group No. 15, the leader of Penza Communists Georgy Kamnev told PenzaNews in a phone interview.
He also reminded that Pavel Pestryakov, who also was a member of the regional group roster in 2012, is no longer a member of the Communist Party.
“We unanimously voted for showing support to Marshev. Vladimir Arkadyevich is the number three in the regional group No. 15 and the first secretary of our party’s Shemysheyka area committee. He is a pensioner and an active citizen, he was born in 1948. He is 68 now. I believe – not only me, but the regional committee as a whole – that Vladimir Arkadyevich will do the worthy work in defending the interests of the working people in the Legislative Assembly,” he said.
The decision made during the CPRF plenary meeting will be transferred to the Penza region Election Committee in the nearest future, Georgy Kamnev added.
“The regional Election Committee will approve the candidate with their decision, issue a temporary document, and then Vladimir Arkadyevich will receive a deputy mandate on the Legislative Assembly session,” the first secretary of the CPRF regional committee explained.
