Penza, 17 May 2016. PenzaNews. The organizations lending land from the Penza municipality has let their total debt exceed 400 million rubles, announced the head of the city administration’s Municipal Property Department Nailya Alyusheva.

“We are constantly working with the debtors. We are working on recovering the debts, through courts in each case,” she explained during the session of the permanent City Duma committee on urban planning, land use and property held on Tuesday, May 17.

According to her, all cases where an individual debt exceeds 500,000 rubles were referred to the court.

Moreover, the officials are holding weekly meetings with court bailiffs to discuss debt recovery, Nailya Alyusheva pointed out.

“We are meeting with debtors who owe us less than 100,000 rubles each Thursday, trying to solve the issues before the court,” said the head of the Municipal Property Department.

According to her, a meeting with one of the big-owing debtors “Invest-Yevro-Penza” was held the week before.

“This company works with the ‘Kollazh’ shopping center. The debt negotiated through the court is 119 million rubles. But an additional debt of 12 million rubles got added to this sum since we went to the court. A representative from Moscow attended the meeting. […] We agreed to have this sum of 12 million rubles paid over June,” Nailya Alyusheva explained.
