Levin to take part in State Duma election in district No. 147 for “A Just Russia”

Penza, 27 June 2016. PenzaNews. Leonid Levin, member of “A Just Russia” party, chairman of the State Duma committee on information policy, information technologies and communications, APF headquarters expert, has been approved as a candidate for the State Duma election in the 147 Lermontov single-mandate election district during the 8th party convention on Monday, June 27.

Previously, the media learned that Lyudmila Kolomytseva, who joined the party in April 2016 and informed that she got in a conflict with the APF regional headquarters, will be representing “A Just Russia” in the Penza single-mandate election district No. 146.

She will be competing with the Penza Communists leader Georgy Kamnev. In the meantime, Leonid Levin will be pitted against the CPRF regional committee member Alexei Petrov.

The candidates from United Russia for the election districts No. 146 and No. 147 are yet to be announced during the currently ongoing plenary meeting of the 15th party convention in Moscow.

At the same time, LDPR will be approving its list of candidates, including for single-mandate election districts, at the party convention on Tuesday, June 28.
