About 30 Penza policemen became donors
Penza, 2 February 2012. PenzaNews. About thirty police officers and traffic policemen donated blood at the regional hemotransfusion station in Penza on Tuesday, February 2.
According to the press-service of the Interior Ministry of Russia for the Penza region, the majority of participants of action donated blood for the first time.
According to assistant to the head physician of the regional hemotransfusion station Stepan Kozak, it is extremely important to make other people follow policemen’s example.
“There is great demand for blood and its components at the medical institutions of the region, therefore it is important to increase the quantity of donors,” he underlined.
