The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev named human resource the main wealth of the region, having underlined that our educational system should be better to develop intellectual mental potential. “The Penza region can develop dynamically with the help of qualified specialists who want to work in the region,” said the governor at the meeting with young scientists, Russian science dated for Science Day on Wednesday, February 8.

Vasily Bochkarev criticized the quality of education either at school or at univercities.

“If talented person does not work, his talent will be lost. Thus the youth is not guilty in the inadequate relation to study. Neither parents nor school give quality education to teenagers,” said the head of the region.

According to the governor, many teachers of the universities “are not able to work for today’s economy” even for big money.

“We can not get necessary equipment for technopark as there are no suppliers in Russia who could render equipment scientists need,” added Vasily Bochkarev.

He called for change of national mentality and consumer relation to life.
