Penza, 8 February 2012. PenzaNews. The liquidator of Chernobyl accident living in Pachelmsky area of the Penza region, Peter Pisarev was awarded medals “For Merits before Fatherland” of the Second Degree.

“According to the participant of Chernobyl events, in July 1987 he visited the territory of atomic power station more than 50 times as a chemist-meter man,” informed the department of information and mass-media of the region.

The award was handed over by the assistant to the chief of department of military commissariat of the Penza region of Bashmakovsky and Pachelmsky areas Victor Svinarenko on Tuesday, February 7.
