A number of public organizations of the Penza region including trade unions, “Russian Union of Veterans of Afghanistan”, funds “Public against Narcotics”, “Savyatoe Delo,” “Dobry Zhest”, “Pokrov” and also public organization “Blagovest”, sport motor club “Svobodnie Bratya” and others intend to take active part in activity of an independent group of observers “For fair elections.”

“Many people ask me how they can help. I answer that the number of supporters of elections transparency should grow. It is extremely necessary that we could monitor this process, to consult other people about everyday questions,” head of independent group of observers “For fair elections in the Penza region” Gleb Sintsov said during the next session of association on Friday, February 17.

He underlined that the group of observers is not engaged in any propaganda.

“Our problem is to monitor law observance,” explained Gleb Sintsov. He noticed that the group “For Fair Elections” is not unique in the Penza region, called to provide voting procedure transparency.

“If there are not only two groups of independent observers, but for example 42 groups, it will be good. Our power is in our quantity. We can make joint document, protest, statement, complaint,” said Gleb Sintsov.

He informed that publication of “Instruction of Independent Observer” where bases of elective legislation will be presented schematically is discussed now.
