Oil products cause no threats to ecology in Tamala, Russian Railways

Penza, 29 February 2012. PenzaNews. There are no threats of ecology because of oil products overflow in Tamalinsky area of the Penza region. Two snow-plows directed from station Rtishchevo finished polluted snow gathering. Deputy chief of corporate communications service of Southeast railway Nina Ishutina informe news agency PenzaNews about it.

“Collected snow will be transported in the specialized organization which is engaged in oil wast recycling. Nobody suffered as the result of the accident,” the spokeswoman specified.

She added that vacuum gasoil is low-risk product of oil refining and has 4 class of danger for human body.

“Thanks to deep snow cover on a place of pouring the substance had minimum contact with soil,” Nina Ishutina added.

As the news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, in the evening on February 27 at station Tamala of Southeast railway cargo train travelling from Saratov in the western direction as in the bottom part of the drain device of one of cars the insignificant leak of cargo vacuum gasoil has been revealed and detained.

Oil refining product overflew in inter rail space. Leakage was eliminated within an hour after detection, the wagon was unhooked.
