The first in the Penza region KbshZhD transaction ticket terminals of self-service allowing passengers to buy long-distance train ticket independently and print the ticket having been earlier bought through the Internet was started at railway station Penza-I on Friday, March 16.

“There are assistants near the terminals who are always ready to help passengers using the terminsl,” informed Press Secretary of Penza region KbshZhD Alevtina Goldinova.

She said that technology of independent buying was praised by passengers.

“Since November 2008 till February 2012 more than 6.6 million long-distance train tickets ordered and paid through the Internet have been processed have,” the spokeswoman explained.
