Mayor Ivan Belozertsev declared it during expanded meeting devoted to a month on an beautification with heads of the enterprises of all forms of ownership, establishments of education, health care and the housing and communal services .

"Streets of Penza make burdensome impression now— everywhere is dirt, water, garbage and snow mountains . By April 20 the city is already cleared up, but in connection with present weather conditions beautification becomes complicated," Ivan Belozertsev told.

He also paid attention of being present to littered territories near some large shopping centers, banks and gas stations.

"Each self-respecting director or major businessman should care of purity not only territories adjacent to his office, but also of all city. This wish fully belongs to the federal and regional structures," Ivan Belozertsev emphasized.

The mayor also applied to rectors of higher education institutions and directors of schools to get actively into gear on establishing order in adjacent territories.
