Penza, 26 April 2012. PenzaNews. Reporter of State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company “Penza” Natalia Karpeeva became the prizewinner of Volga region district stage of All-Russia competition for regional journalists “We are in Touch!” organized by JSC Rostelecom.

“Penza journalist took the second place in nomination “Television.” She presented report about video surveillance system of voting and votes’ counting process during March presidential election on polling stations of Penza,” reported the press service of Penza branch of JSC “Rostelecom.”

The awards ceremony will take place on the festive event devoted to Day of radio, on May 4.

There were 60 works of representatives of Volga region mass media working. Materials were estimated in four nominations: “Internet edition,” “Print media,” “Television” and “Radio.”

The journalists who have taken the first places in the nominations, will take part in the second stage where within the exhibition “Svyaz-Expokomm — 2012” winners of the All-Russia competition “We are in Touch” will be defined.

“The main purpose of the competition was to attract attention of regional and federal mass media to the branch problems, introduced innovative decisions and new products,” added the press service.
