Penza, 24 May 2012. PenzaNews. Prospective students of the Penza region are invited to new faculty of pediatrics of Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov opened in 2012.

“The pediatric faculty provides applicants a real opportunity to receive an in-demand profession, social guarantees, career and professional growth prospects,” reported rector of the university Roman Kalinin.

He informed that future pediatricians would train their practical skills on models, phantoms and simulators in the center of practical training of the university.

“Students will be able to learn modern methods of diagnostics and treatment, work with the hi-tech equipment in the Regional clinical perinatal center. The main clinical bases will be Ryazan regional children’s clinical hospital named after N. V. Dmitriyev, Regional clinical perinatal center and city children clinical hospitals and maternity hospitals — more than 30 modern health care institutions of the region,” reported the spokesman.

Roman Kalinin added that graduates of pediatric faculty could continue training at clinical residency, internship and postgraduate department.

“It is possible to enter the university on the basis of Unified State Examination results. Documents will be accepted since June 20. It is necessary to provide certificates of state examinations in Chemistry, Biology and Russian. Training term is 6 years,” informed Roman Kalinin.
