Penza Governor proposed exhibiting Russian folk costumes in museum of Ulyanov

Penza, 29 May 2012. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza Region Vasily Bochkarev proposed to place an exposition of Russian folk costumes in the building of Ulyanov museum. He stated this during an inspection visit to the reconstructed object on Tuesday, May 29.

“If we invest the money of the taxpayers in the reconstruction of this building, which is regional budget and federal one, then the reconstructed object must be attractive. The museum of I.N. Ulyanov, except for the thematic exposition, should have projects that would arouse pride and interest in people, and only then we would be able to say that the money is well spent,” stated Vasily Bochkarev.
The head of the region gave an instruction to the officials and museum authorities to make the driveway to the cultural institution more convenient.
Currently, the work on dismantling and installation of roofing, warming of attic, floor planking, internal engineering systems and power supply of the building is being held. In addition, the installation of windows and dismantling of facade retaining wall have begun.
Completion of the reconstruction is scheduled for October 25.
