Penza, 29 May 2012. PenzaNews. Wi-Fi Internet access is provided in four conference halls of the government of the Penza region.
According to the head of governor’s staff and regional government Victor Rubtsov, this governor’s initiative was realized within the project “Electronic government.”
“The equipment has already been installed and tested. The Internet coverage area is only within the halls where the equipment is placed,” said the spokesman.
According to Victor Rubtsov, there are many visitors at the meetings in the government building, and it was decided to make two types of access to the Internet: free and passworded.
“Speed of free Internet access will be 256 kbps. Password access speed can be up to 3 Mbps,” informed the spokesperson.
“The government should be always in touch and have operational information even during the meetings,” Victor Rubtsov concluded.
