Journalists Memorial Day to be established in Penza region

Penza, 28 June 2012. PenzaNews. Journalists Memorial Day will be celebrated annually in the Penza region. Its date is not yet determined.

As the Head of the department of information policy and media of the region Nelly Davydova reported in her microblog “Twitter,” two options are considered – International Day of Journalists’ Solidarity, September 8 or Memorial Day of Journalists Killed on Duty, December 15.

In addition, on June 27 the coordinating council for the development and implementation of information policy in the region expressed the need to create the website for the Penza regional organization Russian Union of Journalists.
