Penza gymnastics school wins grant of 2,5 million rubles

Penza, 7 November 2013. PenzaNews. Penza Regional Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve for gymnastics will get a grant amounting to 2,5 million rubles for the second place in the contest, organized by the Fund of Russian Olympians Support.

The money will be spent on sport equipment purchase.

The competition was held among Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports Schools of Olympic Reserve, preparing candidates for the national teams of Russia for participation in Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 and Rio de Janeiro 2016.

At present, among athletes of the Russian gymnastics national team there are Penza athletes Denis Ablyazin, Pavel Russinyak, Nikolay Kovinov, Pavel Pavlov, Valentin Starikov, Ivan Tikhonov, Natalia Kapitonova, Artem Arnaut, Alexey Kanesev and Alexander Glukhov.

The Russian team of rhythmic gymnastics includes Daria Kadenkova, Anastasia Blisnyuk, Anastasia Nikishina, and Alevtina Sonova, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
