Penza resident Praskovya Denisova celebrated 105th birthday

Penza, 10 October 2014. PenzaNews. A Penza resident Praskovya Denisova has celebrated her 105th birthday anniversary on Thursday, October 9.
Roman Petrukhin, deputy chairman of the City Duma, Vasily Bizikov, head of administration of Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza, Sergei Volkov, head of social management of the city and other officials came to congratulate the spercentenarian on a happy anniversary.
As the press service of the mayor informs, they wished Praskovya Denisova strong health and gave her gifts.
Praskovya Denisova was born in Lychevo village, the Ivanovo region in 1909.
She began working at a textile factory when she was 16. In 1933, Praskovya Denisova took courses and became a primary school teacher.
She raised 7 children, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was awarded the Medal and the “Maternal Glory” Order of the 3rd class.
