The well-known Penza businessman Oleg Totsky, chairman of the local branch of “Opora Rossii,” sentenced to two years in prison for a fatal traffic accident and will serve it in the penal colony No.12 located in Sosnovka village of Bessonovsky area, Andrei Popkov, FPS spokesman, told PenzaNews agency on December 19.

“The convict arrived to the department [of FPS] to receive the court order on time, got it, then returned to the colony himself. That’s it. We have no questions to the convict,” the agency interlocutor said.

Meanwhile, the sources close to Oleg Totsky inform that the businessman’s health has significantly worsened, and allegedly he was first taken to the intensive care unit and then to the hospital.

Svetlana Totskaya, the businessman’s wife, refused to comment on this subject, having asked why they needed it.

“I will not discuss anything with you. Thank you,” she said by telephone.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, on the evening September 14, 2012 Oleg Totsky performing a U-turn in car “Linkoln” on Prospekt Pobedy Street in Penza, collided with motorcycle “Suzuki-250.” As a result of the accident the motorcycle driver, born 1991, died at the accident scene, and the passenger was hospitalized with various injuries.
