Penza region to get 478 million rubles to help people move from dilapidated housing

Penza, 29 December 2014. PenzaNews. The governing board of the Urban Amenities Fund Reform Assistance Fund, a government-owned corporation, has approved the request of the Penza region to provide financial support to help move people from dilapidated housing for the year of 2015.
According to the decision, the region will receive 478.22 million rubles, which will be added to 709.01 million rubles provided by the Penza region on co-financing basis to move 2,124 people from 87 houses in dangerous state.
As the press service of the regional government informed PenzaNews agency, the funds will be transferred to the Penza region in early 2015.
In 2008-2014, the Penza region has received 5.49 million rubles to facilitate apartment building construction and move people from dilapidated housing from the Urban Amenities Reform Assistance Fund. The region provided additional 1.58 billion rubles.
The funds were used to conduct major repairs of 1,702 apartment buildings and improve housing of 178,966 persons, as well as apartments for 8,830 people to help them move out of 451 dangerously dilapidated locations.
