Penza, 29 December 2014. PenzaNews. 26 projects developed in the Penza region will receive support grants with a total sum of 2,300,000 rubles. They were selected during an all-Russian competition by the Federal Youth Affairs Agency.

As the press service of the Penza Ministry of Education informed PenzaNews agency, the region took the first place in the Volga Federal District by project numbers.

“The competition involved a total of 10,659 applications. The most projects – over 800 – were dedicated to healthy lifestyle promotion, while 570 and 520 projects were involved with arts and volunteer activities respectively,” the authorities clarified.

According to the press service, the 2014 competition was the first to allow admissions from NGOs.

“The state will distribute 1,263 grants with a total of 120 million rubles,” said the ministry.
