Penza, 12 January 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev suggested to cut down transport taxes for snowmobiles and quad bikes.

“We must legalize these vehicles, otherwise the tax for them is much higher than for a car,” he said during a meeting session of the regional government on Monday, January 12.

The governor ordered Valery Bespalov, deputy chairman of the regional government, and Irina Shirshina, head of the State Apartment Construction and Equipment Inspection of the region, to review the issue.

According to Vasily Bochkarev, the amendments must be introduced as early as during the oncoming session of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region.
