Penza, 12 January 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev suggested introducing financial grants for gifted students.
“Many gifted graduates of Penza schools leave for other regions to continue education. We must somehow talk them into staying, so let’s research the possibility of introducing regional grants for talented students,” Vasily Bochkarev said during a meeting session of the regional government on Monday, January 12.
The governor added that the grants must be co-funded by the region and the higher education institutions on a 1:1 basis, since universities are also interested in future skilled professionals.
Along with that, Vasily Bochkarev stressed the importance of organizing demonstration tours in each Penza university for school students in order to help them choose their future work area.
