Media: Penza region to help LPR with municipal vehicles

Penza, 20 March 2015. PenzaNews. The Russian regions, including the Penza region, will help the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) with municipal vehicles, the Lugansk Information Center reports with reference to the LPR head Igor Plotnitsky.

According to him, the Russian humanitarian aid is currently on the way to the republic. It consists of municipal vehicles, some of which will remain in Lugansk, and the rest will be used in other areas.
“This will significantly upgrade our municipal park, because, you know, a lot of the equipment was damaged, and some of it is involved in construction of various engineering fortifications,” he explained.
“It [the delivery of machinery] is planned to arrive from the Penza region, and this is just the beginning. We have scheduled a meeting with the governors of various republics and regions [of Russia],” Igor Plotnitsky said.
In his turn, Alexei Rusakov, Minister of Construction and Communal Services of the LPR, said that the region expects up to one hundred municipal vehicles.
