Penza, 22 May 2015. PenzaNews. The second stage of the Penza volunteer fire brigades started in the morning of Friday, May 22.

Over 30 representatives of the Kuznetsk Nizhny Lomov, Nikolsk, Lunino and Serdobsk areas, as well as Penza city, take part in the event.

The participants compete in three types of obstacles, such as classic deployment, when a brigade must fill a target with water via a fire hose as quickly as possible; perform some of the emergency containment elements using hydraulic equipment and first aid skills; as well as a mock tag race with firefighting equipment and a volleyball match.

The volunteers are running the race with coiled fire hoses, as many fire extinguishers as they can carry, or a cross-beam with two buckets filled with water without splashing it out.
