Penza, 11 June 2015. PenzaNews. A total of 781 children were born in families with three or more kids in the Penza region in January-May 2015.

“This is 43 children more than in the same period of 2014,” the press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Demographics of the Penza region informed PenzaNews agency.

Overall, according to the officials, 4,238 children were born in regional families since January 2013, when the Presidential edict No. 606 of May 7 2012, “On Implementation Measures of Demography Policy in the Russian Federation,” came into foce.

“A total of 3,700 people received the monthly allowance of 6,541 rubles for the birth of a third and subsequent child in January-May 2015. A total of 123,700,000 rubles were used for these allowances, including 73,700,000 rubles from the federal budget,” the ministry clarified.
