Penza court deems Vladimir Kvachkov’s book extremist material

Penza, 23 June 2015. PenzaNews. The Leninsky area court of Penza gave a positive reply to the prosecutor claim on deeming the book “Who Rules Russia?” written by military reconnaissance colonel (retired) Vladimir Kvachkov an extremist material. Vladimir Kvachkov is currently serving a jail term in one of the penal colonies in Mordovia for attempted coup organization. The news were made public through the federal media who say they were distributed by the attorney Oksana Mikhalkina.

The court refused to comment on the issue.
“Our court session is closed. […] I have no rights to disclose any information on this case,” Anastasiya Sabaeva, official representative of the Leninsky area court of Penza, informed PenzaNews agency.
According to the news published on the court website, the final session between the prosecutor of the Leninsky area of Penza city, the defendant “Algoritm,” as well as Vladimir Kvachnkov and the department of the Russian Ministry of Law, was held on Monday, June 22.
The session was presided by the judge Yulia Andrianova.
