Penza school students to take part in international robotics festival

Penza, 17 September 2015. PenzaNews. Penza school students will take part in the 2nd international robotics festival “Robofinist” on September 19-20. The festival will be held in the expo-center hall of the St. Petersburg “Garden City” shopping complex.
The region will be represented by the teams of the lyceum No. 73 (led by Stanislav Peganov), gymnasium No. 53 (captain Mikhail Alenin) and the children and youth development center (headed by Kirill Polzunov).
All school students are winners and runners-up of the “RoboEvolution” regional robotics tournament held in spring of 2015.
Over the two days of the event, they will take part in 28 competitions, robotics workshops, and a project exhibition. The children will be able to evaluate and increase their professional skills and exchange their experience with their colleagues from abroad, says the press service of the Penza region Ministry of Education.
The festival “Robofinist” was first held in 2014.
It is organized by the charity foundation “Finist” and the St. Petersburg Presidential physics and mathematics lyceum No. 239.
